"We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing."
-Noah Mittman
Traceur and Freerunner
Fear and caution is promoted in today's society. We are taught not to take risks and not to take chances-not to do anything potentially dangerous. As children, if we climb a tree, our parents tell us to get down or else we fall and break a bone. They tell us not to jump off that structure because we will not land right and get cut if we do. This treatment sets a mental law that restricts us from taking risks in life both physical and mental/emotional. Our team wishes to break that chain and instead encourage our generation and the generations to come to take risks and to live life as it is supposed to be lived-to blossom and grow. Doing parkour and freerunning tears us away from that mind-set we grew up in and teaches us to be free and live. In doing what we do, we expand both physically and mentally in capacity. We do what humans were meant to do.
